Since becoming Director of the school, my time for creative activity has been very limited. The bulk of my research and creative activities have been presenting about letterpress through conferences and workshops. I have had the opportunity to lead workshops on letterpress in Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Russia and the United States. I have called these workshops letterpress light workshops because I never know what will be available to work with when I arrive. I often take letterforms cut in wood and acrylic for participants to ink and stamp with at a minumum. Sometimes I have access to presses and type, other times I am limited to the materials I take with me. Letterpress Light Workshops
