Sometimes I work along with students in my Typography I class on assignments. One of the assignments we usually do is to create a bitmapped alphabet. As we discuss parameters of the project, we always discuss how small a letterform can be in pixels. For this font, I tried to create a font with a three-pixel x-height, which challenging with a stacked a, lower-case e and s. Big Bitmapped Font
