This is a small specimen booklet I made while visiting Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. I was fascinated by the small wood type they had in their collection. Three-line type is 36 points tall from the baseline to the ascender line, it is about the same visual size as 48-point metal type. I felt like the fact that Hamilton made type that small from wood should be celebrated. The booklet folds out to reveal four fonts found in their collection.
